ラダックにおいての　洪水災害では　ダライラマの法話に参加して　そのあと　ヒマラヤの地においてその講話を　実践されていた方々が　被害にあわれた恐れがあります。

ラダックにおいての　災害情報

レーの方は、インドのＮＤＴＶが１３９人死亡、６００人不明。
共同デリー（清水さん）は警察発表として、１６０人死亡、６００人不明、外人３人も死亡と報道されている。

インドのテレビでは外人５０人が今も行方不明と発表。
多くの外人が再開された民間フライトを使ってレーを脱出する様子が映された。
電話局が破壊されたので、通信手段が問題。ラダックに至る道も至る所で切断され、陸路はまだ開通されていないが、空路は確保されているとのこと。
元々軍隊が大勢駐屯しているレーなので、救出活動をする軍人の姿はたっぷり見ることができる。

NubraValley, Ladakh, J&K, India, 20 July 2010 (ANI) - Tibetan spiritualleader the Dalai Lama has reached Nubra Valley in Jammu and Kashmir'sLadakh region on a nine-day visit to the area.

Hundreds of the Dalai Lama's well-wishers werestanding on the roadsides from Thoise Airport to Samtanling Monastery,carrying traditional ceremonial white scarves, garlands, and incense intheir hands, to welcome him and to receive his blessing.
ダライラマの有志の何百はThoise空港からSamtanling Monasteryまで道端に立っていました。そして、伝統的な公式の白いスカーフ、花輪と香を彼らの手で運びました。そして、彼を歓迎して、彼の承認を受けました。

He was received by a number of dignitaries at Thoise Airport.

"Right now the people of Nubra Valley are veryhappy. People are excited and really enthusiastic about his presence,and they are ready to devote themselves to him. This is his fourthvisit to the valley," said Urgen Tsering, President, Ladakh BuddhistAssociation.

Buddhist monks welcomed the Dalai Lama withreligious fervour at the Samtanling Gonpa monastery, playing religiousmusical instruments and drums.
仏教僧はSamtanling Gonpa修道院にダライラマを宗教的な熱情で迎えました。そして、宗教的な楽器とドラムスを演奏しました。

"There is no measurement for the happiness that weall are feeling. In morning, the weather was not good and we got thisinformation that there would be some changes in the timings of hisflight. But it is our good luck that Dalai LamaJi has come to ourvalley. He reached here half-an-hour before and all the people of NubraValley are overwhelmed with his presence, " said Tsering Angchuk,Executive Councilor, Ladakh Autonomous District Council, Leh (LAHDC).
