Will you help stop the torture of Tibetan political prisoners, Yoshi?
Please take action right now because innocent Tibetans are being tortured by Chinese authorities at this very moment.
Researchers here at the International Campaign for Tibet have documented dozens of incidents of torture in Tibet – often with deadly results. That is likely only a fraction of the lethal toll Chinese police and Communist Party leaders try to keep hidden from the world.
Goshul Lobsang is one of the Tibetans who have been tortured to death. He was arrested for organizing a peaceful political protest in Tibet. Chinese jailers stuck sharp objects under his fingernails, beat him severely and denied him food.
In the weeks before his death last year, Goshul Lobsang was too ill and weak to speak. Witnesses report he "simply folded his hands and died" – leaving behind his mother, wife and two children.
In memory of Goshul Lobsang and other torture victims, I urge you to sign ICT’s Stop Torture petition to China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi and support our fight to protect Tibetans’ rights and lives.
This petition drive and everything ICT does to help Tibetans depends on your support. As citizens in the free world, we must speak out for those whose voices are silenced.
We cannot allow China’s illegal, deadly torture go unchallenged. Join us and speak up for Tibetans’ rights and lives now.
Thank you,
Matteo Mecacci
President
