Dharamsala, November 15 – Hundreds of Tibetans and supporters onSaturday carried out protest demonstration in Yokohama, Japan, against China’ssuppression of Tibetans inside Tibet and their freedom of language and culture.
Dharamsala、11月15日 –何百人ものチベット人とサポーターは、チベットと言語と文化の彼らの自由の中にチベット人の中国の抑制に対して、横浜（日本）で、土曜日に抗議デモンストレーションを行いました。
The protest was targeted at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation(APEC)Forum, which was attended among others by Chinese President Hu Jintao.The protesters gathered at Goshoyama Park, the venue of the APEC Forum. Themarchers carrying Tibetan national flags, and placards passed throughIsezakicho mall and gathered at Yokohama Park.
抗 議はアジア太平洋経済協力会議（APEC）Forumに目標が定められました。そして、それは胡錦濤中国国家主席がその中に出席されました。抗議者は、APECForumの会場のGoshoyama公園で集まりました。チベットの国旗とプラカードを持っている行進者は、伊勢佐木町モールを通り抜けて、横浜公園までまいりました。
Organized by Tibetan Community of Japan with the support of Studentsfor Free Tibet Japan, the day began with speeches by Ven.Wakaomi of ZenkojiTemple and the Vice President of Tibetan community Dolma Tsering.
ＳＦＴＪの支持で日本のチベットのCommunityによって組織されて、当日は善光寺の副住職Wakaomi氏とチベットのコミュニティ副代表 Dolmaツェリンによってスピーチから始めました。
“We are not here to protest against the countries participating in APECforum, instead we support the meet and hope for positive outcome from theforum. However, it is our appeal to the various leaders of APEC countries toraise the issue of human rights and Tibet with China,” said Dolma.
「我々はAPECフォーラムに参加している国に抗議するためにここにきたわけではない、その代わりに、我々は会議を支えて、フォーラムから前向きな結果を望みます。しかし、中国での人権とチベットの問題を持ち出すことは、APEC国のいろいろなリーダーへの我々の訴えです」と、Dolmaが言いました。
Dolma said that president Hu Jintao must listen to the voices of theTibetans. The best opportunity to communicate with the Chinese leaders is whenthey are on alien soil, she said. “Hu Jintao and other Chinese leaders mustrespect the Tibetan people’s right to religion and culture. Suppression willgive way to dissent one day so I urge them to not just talk about stability andharmonious society but work for it,” she added.
ドルマは、胡錦濤主席がチベット人の声を聞かなければならないと言いました。中国のリーダーとへ情報を入れる最高の機会は彼らが外国の地にいる時であると、彼女が言いました。「胡錦濤と他の中国のリーダーは、宗教と文化に対するチベットの人々の権利を尊重しなければなりません。抑制はある日 異議を唱えるようになります だから 私が彼らに安定性と調和した社会について話さなくてくても、それが働くようになるのです」と、彼女が付け加えました。
Makino Seishu, Japan member of Diet (Japanese lagislature) and ardentTibet supporter said in a message sent for the event, “I firmly believe thecore political agenda in 21st century rests with the human rights and povertyalleviation. Only by addressing these issues, there will be a peace in thisworld. And I commit myself to addressing the Tibet problem with the spirit ofnon-violence and dialogue. I express my solidarity to the people participatinghere today.”
熱心なチベット問題議員連盟 マ キノセイシュ、国会議員はイベントのために送られたメッセージで述べていました ―「私は、人権と貧困緩和が 21世紀の残りにおいてしっかりと中心的な政治課題だと信じています。これらの問題に対処することによってだけ、平和がこの世ではあります。そして、私は非暴力と対話の精神に関するチベット問題に対処することを約束します。私は、私の団結を今日ここで参加している人々に表現しま す。」
The famous Japanese Alpinist Ken Noguchi wrote in his message,“According to China, Tibet is an internal problem and always warns othercountries not to intervene in China’s internal affair. Until now, many Tibetanshave been jailed, tortured and killed. The human rights issue has no boundary.”
有 名な日本のAlpinist野口健は彼のメッセージにおいて書きました ―「中国によると、チベットは内部の問題で、常に他の国に中国の国内事情に介入しないよう警告します。これまで、多くのチベット人が投獄されて、拷問されて、死にました。人権問題は、境界線を持ちません。」
The protesters expressed their disappointment at the recent replacementof Tibetan language as the medium of instruction by Chinese in Tibetan schoolsin Qinghai province. Various Japanese media such as NHK covered the protest.
抗議者は、青海行政区のチベットの学校の中国人による指導の媒体として、チベットの言語の最近の置き換えに対する彼らの失望を表明しました。NHKのようないろいろな日本のメディアは、抗議をカバーしました。
“China’s forced introduction of Chinese language in schools is aimed atwiping out the entire Tibetan race, and this is dangerous not just for thepeople of Qinghai who are directly affected by it but also the entire Tibetanpopulace around the world,” said Tsering Dorjee, a member of SFT Japan.
「学校での中国の言語の中国の強制的導入は全てのチベット人を一掃することを目的とします、そして、これはちょうどそれに直接影響を受ける青海の人々でなく世界中の全てのチベットの民衆にも危険です」と、ツェリンDorjee（SFT日本のメンバー）が言いました。
21000 police personnel have been deployed in the Yokohama city toensure smooth running of the APEC Forum.
