本年は コアの参加者6名 で1週間のウオークは無事終了したとの連絡をもらいました。今年は途中の支援レポートもできず、申し訳なかったとおもっています。今年はジグメなきあと若い人たちが参加をしてくれたようですが、「独立」をターゲットにしているから チベット人の大量参加がなかったかも？彼らのレポートでは半分の日程で トイレの使用が お店に断られたり、食事を 駐車場で車座になってすることを禁じられたり、差別は無いようであるがよそ者に対する対応は大変の様相であったみたいです。最終日ボストンで集会を開くも ボストンのチベット人の活動が振るわず、支援も無かったことを かれらは述べていました、ちょうど 法王がこちらに来て 何万人の集会を行った割には どうしてか？という疑問がでてしまう。 「独立」という言葉は 禁句なのであろうか？？写真等は転載するが どうか ラルゼンのHPで読んでみて下さい。

ITIM was co-founded in 1995 by Taktser Rinpoche (His Holiness The Dalai Lama's oldest brother) and Professor Larry Gerstein to obtain Tibet's independence through non-violent methods.
