反原発デモ報道ー読売、産経、朝日、NYT、TBS、Twitter
昨日、つまり2011年6月11日（土）は東日本大震災および福島原発事故発生から３カ月目を迎え、日本各地では「６・11脱原発１００万人アクション」という反原発デモが繰り広げられました。神奈川県では横浜市のＪＲ桜木町駅から山下公園にかけてデモ行進「さよなら原発ウォーク」が開催され、約３千人（主催者発表）が参加。秦野市でも関連活動が行われたようです。
ということは、読売や産経新聞だけを購読し、他の情報に疎い人であれば、反原発デモがあったことを知らないで過ごしてしまうかもしれないという訳です。私自身も、反原発デモが2011/06/11にある予備知識という予備知識がなかったら、あるいはTwitterの情報がなかったら、デモについて知らないでいたかもしれません。
巷には新聞を教育に用いようという運動もあるようです。しかし、新聞記事自体がここまでバイアスを含んでいるのだとしたら、安易に子どもに新聞を読ませてしまうわけにはいけなくなるでしょう。すくなくとも、我々教える側としては、報道するメディアの偏向状況を知っておく必要があるでしょう。

ＮＨＫテレビ１９時のニュースは東京での「脱原発デモ」を報道せず（低気温のエクスタシー）
あ然！！！ ＮＨＫニュース：歴史的な６万人以上の反原発デモの出来事を、ＮＨＫ６時のニュースで一瞬、放送しただけで、７時のニュースでは無視。これで犯罪組織であることを確信した。このデモより福島が花火の打ち上げを中止したことやトライアスロンのニュースの方が大切らしい。

Japan anti-nuclear protests mark 6 months since quake
(Reuters) - Anti-nuclear protesters took to the streets of Tokyo andother cities on Sunday to mark six months since the March earthquake andtsunami and vent their anger at the government's handling of the nuclear crisisset off by meltdowns at the Fukushima power plant.
In one of the largest protests, an estimated 2,500 people marched pastthe headquarters of the plant's operator, Tokyo Electric Power Company, andcreated a "human chain" around the building of the Trade Ministrythat oversees the power industry.
The magnitude 9.0 earthquake and tsunami that hit Japan's northeasterncoast left 20,000 dead or missing and crippled the Fukushima plant, triggeringthe worst nuclear crisis since Chernobyl.
The accident that led to radiation and contamination fears spurredwidespread calls for an end to Japan's reliance on nuclear power in thequake-prone country.
Protesters, marching to the beat of drums, called for a completeshutdown of nuclear power plants across Japan and demanded a shift ingovernment policy towards alternative sources of energy.
Among the protestors were four young men who declared the start of a10-day hunger strike to bring about change in Japan's nuclear policy.
"I believe it is very important that the young generation voicesopposition against nuclear power, and in order to bring our point across weneed to put ourselves on the line and that's why we chose to hunger strike for10 days," said 20-year-old Naoya Okamoto.
Japanese media reported similar protests in other cities across Japanon the day many offered prayers to those who died in the March 11 disaster.
