13年の拷問と虐待は、彼 の家族 と 我々 全員に　彼 の人生がどうなるのか とても恐ろしい事です 。彼 の心臓病 への 治療はほとんど何も なく、彼 の健康 は、ひどく 悪化しました 。

 

2013年に、テンジンDelekリンポチェは、以下のように述べました ：

Today marks 13 years in Chinese prison for innocent Tibetan Buddhist leader Tenzin Delek Rinpoche. 13 years of torture and abuse has his family and all of us extremely fearful for his life. With little to no medical treatment for his heart condition, his health has severely deteriorated.

In 2013, Tenzin Delek Rinpoche stated: "There are some people who say that taking up my case will make things worse for me. At this point, I have fallen to my lowest point - nothing worse can come. You can make appeals and initiate campaigns for me."

An official application for medical parole was made by Tenzin Delek’s family in 2014. Authorities have not responded to the application nor have they granted visitation rights to the family. Tenzin Delek is entitled to both visitation rights and medical parole under Chinese law.
